Panels of vines grow between coloured cables The buds on the vine add a sparkle of colour, gold on the dark bases and pink or lilac on the cream base. Coloured cables follow through into the cuff and neckband. The Swingcoat style is 100% Pure New Wool, with a round neck, and is full over the hips and fitted over the shoulder.

Instructions:
This design is knitted from three large A3 graphs in black-and-white which are bold and easy to follow. The colours on the graph are given as symbols per area of colour. Knitted in stocking stitch from graphs: each square of the graph is a stitch. The graph also shows decreased stitches to be worked to shape the coat. As with many of Jane's designs the styling and shaping is quite unique and extremely rewarding.
