 I am happy to report that my highly talented team of knitters are all still busy knitting. They (and I) would be lost without our knitting. And at 94, my most 'experienced' knitter, Joyce, remains at the top of her game and has expertly knitted most of my hundreds of designs. While I usually pop a quick note into their knitting parcel, we're keeping in weekly contact to ensure we, and our families, are all healthy.
In Australia, like everywhere else, we are self-isolating, so like you, I am missing my favourite things, one of which is over 20 years of traveling to craft shows around Australia. I miss you and my exhibitor friends, so until we meet again.... |

I design hand knits in Australian Pure New Wool, working from my home studio on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

 If you can cast on and knit and Purl - here's the next step. Swatch 1 (below) takes you from garter stitch (knit all rows) to rib K2, P2, Moss stitch, Basket Stitch and Woven basket - sample below worked right to left. Learn how different stitch patterns change tension and lots of tips towards under standing stitch patterns. This is a pdf.
Top sample below is a swatch of techniques used in the Penny Jacket, shown left. The band is knitted as one with the body and has panels of st-st & Reverse st-st between cable.
