Signatur joined you at 2 new markets
in 2025, and they're back in 2026 |
Fibre Frolic is an annual yarn event in Mulgoa, lower Blue Mountains, at an amazing venue with a 1.2km driveway! It's good to know there's a mini bus running from the station. Sunday is the festival's market day.
Sydney Artisans Market at Marrickville is a quarterly market in May with different stallholders to Coal Loaders in North Sydney. It's a fun, fresh market with ceramics, woodwork, recycled clothing, jewellery, knitwear (naturally) and more. Held at the Portugal Club and thus Portuguese Tart heaven! Free parking and an easy walk from the station.
Last year, sadly, the Coal Loader Market lost it's dedicated manager, changed dates & mucked up generally. Fingers crossed for 2026 dates surfacing ! |

| Why not visit the Signatur studio? |

Holidays in or around Sydney are a great excuse to visit my studio at Killarney Heights. Please make sure you call a couple of days before, just in case I've knit the road.

| New for 2026 - the Dublin Jacket |
| Dublin design now has the original Jumper option and a new Cardigan or Jacket with a touch of Aline into the hip |
I knitted a Dublin jumper as an order for a customer I love seeing all the textures come together. The squares of stitch pattern are divided by double cables, in this case a wheat Sheaf cable.
I have taken Dublin into a Jacket/ Cardigan option, shown as the round neck but the pattern also includes a Shawl collar option (shown below on the Shona Jacket).
The instructions have three length options and 8 chest sizes, and insructions for either a Jacket or Cardigan. |
Below Left, Shona Jacket shows the Shawl collar option for the Dublin Jacket.
Below Right, Desert Flower Swagger Coat, which I've used as a base for
the Birdie Swagger Coat. |

| The Desert Flower has been out of my range for some time, so I restyled the pattern slightly, slimming the sleeve a touch. The left image below is the back of the Birdie, with the smaller sections from the front and sleeves of the design. |

| Famous Paintings come to life |
  |
I do love Picture knitting. In the 1990's I had a huge range of picture knits. I always knit the first sample so I can play with the colours as I go. Once knitted I tidy up and graph the design. A piece of cake? Not when I look back at the 100's of hours it takes!
This first sample shown above started at the back with Ocean Blue as the base to make Van Gogh's Sunflowers pop. For the left front of Girl with a Pearl Earing by Johannes Vermeer I used a Charcoal base colour then added red tulips as their bulbs were wildly valued at this time in history.
The right front has Klimt's Woman in Gold, the sleeves have Monet's Water Lillies and Van Gogh's Starry Night. Of course my handmade buttons abound. |
| For Famous Paintings second sample knit I'm using Peacock Blue as the base colour... |

| Hats, wraps & accessories |

Already have a pattern? No probs - you can purchase yarn only. Or if you want a complete kit look for the Accessories on Shopify.
If you want to knit the same hat twice simply order one kit and then buy enough balls of yarn for the second kit. |
Perfect small projects, whether they're single
colour, flecked yarn or multi-colour combo's |
