| How to Order Jane's book |
  |
| It seems like I've been looking forward to this forever - Swing Swagger Drape launches in September in the US, October in Canada at the Creative Festival in Toronto, and in November in Australia, but you can pre-order a signed copy on my website. YES there are patterns in the book - it is a very beautiful book too - but full of designs all with options and hats and practice techniques pieces. Ane, this will be mailed to you within the US, Canada and Australia. I am still to get the UK release date and price. Sydney copies can be picked up and signed at the Designer & Creators show in Sydney on November 13th - 15th. |

XRX has combined images from Australia, along with my original fashion illustrations and of course the garments and the patterns. Details on adjusting sizes, making buttons and a simple intarisa lesson. I was also hoping to have on-line lessons - but this may have to wait until the new year.
Top left is the Harlequin Swagger which we are using on the front cover, with Sydney harbour behind, Middle shows Lava Drape knitted front to front, then Lava Jacket from the same graphics. Above you can see the Harlequin Mitre design is also taken into a simple A line shape. Colour inspiration is taken from flowers and centre a delicate birds wing. Right Port wine Magnolia perfectly complements a drop stitch pattern with cables. We were shooting in June in Australia, so we had to cheat slightly and visit the markets to get cut blooms! However we were lucky with the Magnolia. |

| The TNNA show in Chicago where I first showed the American yarn stores some of the book's designs |
| The hand knit industry's trade launch for Swing Swagger Drape was at TNNA Chicago last June. The display extended from the Trendsetter stand to publisher XRX' stand. If anyone can tell me where to buy the display dummies we used in the USA I'd really like to hear from you! The display looked fantastic - a true showcase of colour and shape with length, collar and cuff options. |

Sad to tell you that I couldn't get the book landed into the UK in time for the London knitting and Stitching show. I am hoping in 2010 to weave both London and Harrogate into my schedule again.
Sorry for this, but I can still get a signed copy mailed to you from the UK! |
